New Southgate, N11 – Summer 2020

Set in a Victorian terrace in the North London enclave of New Southgate, this traditional “two up two down” property benefitted from a Portico Design and Build revamp! The client wanted to reconfigure the kitchen area in order to create a kitchen/dining space fit for entertaining guests and added bi-folding doors to give a real feeling of space. A beautiful large skylight was added with a Birch ply cladding on the internal upstand to give a Scandinavian vibe to the space and allow light to pour into the dining area.

Some internal walls were removed in the living and dining room area to maximise space, with the original period features restored to their former glory. Upstairs, a bathroom refurbishment was completed, the client chose a striking deep blue half cladded wall to further enhance the period feel to their home.
