Crouch End, N8 – Spring 2022

This was another project completed in conjunction with one of our associate architect studios, Native North. The design brief was to transform this charming end of terrace period home into a modern, sleek and decadent space that would be perfect for entertaining! The clients were very focused on ensuring that each and every line, wall, detail and area was considered when planning the project. From the bespoke handmade kitchen, to the 7m long virtually frameless sliding doors, this property in teeming with interesting design quirks and carefully thought through structural elements.

Working with the clients and completing this stunning project was one of our proudest moments to date. The finish is truly stunning and something to behold! The accent pieces and choice of fixtures and fittings are testament to the client’s keen eye for interior design, that compliment the structure that we created wonderfully well.

The metal cladding, rebuilding of the rear “pod” on the first floor bathroom and adding of the lovely “living” green roof, helped this building seamlessly blend in with its surroundings. The final “pièce de résistance” are the garden and outdoor living spaces, which are conducive to creating a classic “Post Modern” ambience that brings the outside in, by having features such as the corner bi-folding doors, internal courtyard, level threshold with matching “indoor/outdoor” tiles and striking Sapele wooden fence complete with accent lighting.

We really love the mix of old and new, so we gave careful consideration to all of the materials that we were using. This was to ensure that we created the contemporary feel that the client’s wanted, but ensured respect was shown to the age of the property and that the finish we achieved waste tasteful.
